"Why do the world's best designers come to Milan to seek solutions and inspiration?"

Because Milan is the centre of industrial and craft production, of research and development of new technologies, of academic and cultural institutions, of the most important

trade fairs in the sector serving the design and furniture industry.

It is an inimitable network that has made Milan the world capital of design, and it is

in this unique context that Massimo Mussapi was trained, first in his studies with

a double degree in Design and Architecture, then professionally. Since 1996 he has

also been working in the Far East: Taiwan, China, and in the near future Viet Nam.

His studio works mainly in product design, often applied to interior design when it is replicable, as in the case of hotel rooms and chain retail. When required, it also designs branding and

visual communication, according to a strategic vision of 'integrated design' that cannot

be ignored today.

In particular, for the hospitality industry the Studio designs technical products that are chosen by hotel chains, resorts and restaurants all over the world, and furnishing elements that, thanks to their 'transversal' design, can also be used in the residential and office world.

Every project is born from a deep analytical process that brings out its most authentic motivations, free from pre-established models, leading to what appears to be

'the natural solution', original and unique, and this can be a great competitive advantage.

Regarding the great issue of sustainability, Massimo Mussapi thinks there is only one effective and truthful solution: only produce things that have a real reason to exist. Less but better.

Also part of this desire for authenticity is the concept of luxury living as a wealth of interesting experiences and a quest for physical and mental well-being.

So, vision, but also pragmatism: designing for Massimo is 'foreseeing and carrying through',

both concepts of 'time', and time is money.
